Carpenters Warranty

Terms & Conditions

Warranty coverage is limited to items explicitly outlined in the official Contract agreement or Variation Order.
The Warranty remains non-transferable in the event of a change in ownership at the stated address.
The Warranty cannot be swapped or exchanged.
Carpenters hold the right to ascertain the nature of the damage at their discretion.
Within the first year, any product defects identified as workmanship issues will be addressed at no cost, covering both transportation and rectification.
For product defects recognized as workmanship issues beyond the two-year mark, a transportation fee of SGD120.00 will be applicable.
A transportation fee of SGD 120.00 will be incurred for product defects caused by general wear and tear or lack of maintenance (additional or rectification works are not included in the transportation charge).

CARPENTRY WORKS

The Warranty covers Mechanism/Ironmongery used in all Carpentry Works.

For BLUM products, please refer to the manufacturer’s warranty.
A 1-year warranty applies to all other brands.
A 1-year warranty covers specific workmanship issues, including dropped cabinets, peeled laminates/internal PVC, and dropped/broken shelves.
There is a 1-year warranty for peeling/cracking of silicone.
Any alteration/modification/mischief voids the warranty.
Contact your Interior Designer for advice on technical issues.

MASONRY WORKS

Masonry Works, including floor tenting, water-proofing come with a 5-year warranty. Carpenters will cover rectification costs as follows:
- 1st & 2nd year: 100%
- 3rd & 4th year: 50%
- 5th year: 25%
The over-laying of floor and wall tiles on existing tiles’ condition is covered by a 3-year warranty. Carpenters will bear rectification costs as follows:
- 1st year: 100%
- 2nd year: 50%
- 3rd year: 25%
Any alteration, modification, or act of mischief voids all terms of this warranty.

WINDOW WORKS

Window Works are covered by a 1-year warranty.
Hardware and accessories used in Window Works have a 1-year warranty.
There’s also a 1-year warranty for peeling/cracking of silicone.
Any alteration, modification, or act of mischief voids all terms of this warranty.

All Electrical Wiring Works, as per the electrical plan, are covered by a 1-year warranty.
Electrical sockets, switches, and the electrical distribution board have a 1-year warranty, excluding existing ones.
Any alteration, modification, or act of mischief voids all terms of this warranty.

CEILING WORKS
Rusty screws, sinking false ceiling, and cracked joints are covered by a 1-year warranty.
Any alteration, modification, or act of mischief voids all terms of this warranty.

All Plumbing Works, including water pipe joints leakage, come with a 1-year warranty.
Peeling or cracking of silicone has a 1-year warranty.
The warranty excludes accessories and fittings purchased separately by homeowners or existing fittings such as wash basin & tap, toilet bowl, shower set, and hand spray/bidet spray.
Any alteration, modification, or act of mischief voids all terms of this warranty.

Mirrors provided are covered by a 1-year warranty for black dots.
Peeling or cracking of silicone has a 1-year warranty.
The warranty does not cover glass breakage.

PAINTING WORKS
A 1-year warranty is provided for instances where the paint has peeled off, faded, or formed bubbles.
If the problem is a result of the original wall base by HDB, our warranty does not cover defects like paint cracking, peeling off, or mould.

OTHERS

Warranty for additional items is subject to the respective product manufacturer’s terms and conditions, unless explicitly specified. Products supplied by Carpenters partners will be governed by their individual warranty terms. Any alteration, modification, or act of mischief will nullify all terms of this warranty.
